Aiming at the systems and people that created, sow, and benefit from racism, instead of at their end products, like white supremacy and capitalism which relies on it.

They don’t actually give a shit, it’s 100% lip service, which they are only paying now because one of their own committed such a heinous crime they have no choice but to “investigate themsleves” to appease people such as yourself and stop the justified calls for abolition (but as this article mentions, any actual action is many years away, by which point no one will actually notice any systemic change because there will be none)

Racism is a systemic issue that affects every wealth bracket and living area.
Pretending as if racism only exists in backwater towns among “uneducated” people, and not in big cities or higher education (both within the institution and among those graduating from it), is being wilfully ignorant at best.

So basically admitting that abolishing the police is the only viable solution.

People who seek fame are usually doing it to gain power, often exactly for this purpose (though they wouldn’t frame it that way to themselves, of course, to them it’s just “scoring”, they don’t see anyone but themselves).

You need to go one step further - why do people feel the need to own such dogs in the first place? Some people would say the dog is for protection (from who? And why are those people a threat? It’s well known that lack of social and communal services lead to young people ending up involved with gangs and violence), others use it as a status symbol (don’t even get me started on consumerism, and commodification of natural shit like animals), and in almost all cases there is a lot of toxic masculinity involved.

These are all deep rooted systemic issues that go far beyond both dogs and owners (don’t get me wrong - I am not excusing bad dog ownership, and don’t think people should be raising violent and aggressive dogs), and they all need addressing to actually resolve the problem, but it’s much easier for those in charge to focus on the end result, and make it an individual issue, they don’t care about making society better, they just want power and money.

I absolutely disagree that humanity needs to be destroyed because a bunch of men can’t stop sexually abusing those around them, but the fact that it seems easier than ever getting them to stop really goes to show how bad the problem really is.

With the added bonus of letting these people know that them and their assets aren’t as hard to get to as they like to think. Trust that this won’t end with paint.
