You defend Nintendo’s reasoning, I defend the consumer that doesn’t buy them for them being some weird tech demo for their underperforming hardware.

In densely populated areas you have to move quite far out to find such places. Like, check a light pollution map and then scroll into central Europe, like around the Netherlands and western Germany. It’s all just a big red blob.

They don’t though. Look at the Steam forums. Lots of accounts not owning the game are pushing their garbage rage bait every day.

The argument “it looks worse so it should be cheaper” is kind of questionable, when the console they are buying it for just doesn’t allow for much better considering the art direction.

I disagree.
When you have to pay the same or more for something less then that’s simply not justified for the consumer. If the console can’t handle anything better and is that expensive to port over, then you should simply not port your game over to it. If that’s a general Switch problem, then the Switch maybe shouldn’t be a thing either. I thought that’s how markets are supposed to work, no?

Pronouns, body types, “replaced white people”, female leaders, etc. - all part of the daily threads I’ve seen on the Steam forums.

Sure, but the question was why they care, and in this case it very much is justified.

And it is their platform, that’s why they care. They can dictate what is and isn’t allowed there.

And the “replaced white people”. And the female leaders. If someone wants a taste, go through the Steam forums for the game. It’s a complete deranged mess.

It’s definitely very US centric overall.
Reddit was (or rather still is) full of it this time around too and people in various subs called everyone who dismissed this obvious fraud (by the same fraudster that literally pulled the SAME fraud 5 years ago already) as being part of a CIA operation to cover this up.

With UncensoredNews it was the media coverage I believe. Wasn’t good for Reddit’s image when they started to openly use literal Nazi symbols in their subreddit style. Reddit itself has no issues with far right extremists radicalizing on their platform. There’s /r/europe and a bunch of UK subs that are also always pretty openly spewing pretty disgusting Nazi commentary.

Yeah. They even pulled air defense from a disputed island in the east. Seems like Russia is starting to run out of critical equipment. Thinned out air defense is a pretty bad sign for them, not just in regards to Ukraine’s ongoing drone warfare, but also their upcoming F-16 jets and compatible weapons.
