It’s a bad map, not adjusted for area at all! Virginia is even worse than it looks on this map, probably Ohio and a few other eastern states too. Someone needs to fix it and if they’re posting the data publicly but in an annoying to access way (zip code lookup) then I’m skeptical it’s actually illegal.
