Few people are as consistently stressed as Tony Soprano. Sure, he’s got the big house, the big car, the ridiculously understanding wife, but he also has had to kill a few family members and more friends than is usually healthy. Once, he got a good friend indebted to him then burnt down his restaurant. All this while trying to keep two steps ahead of the feds. That lifestyle would age anyone.
Jim Gandalfini? Yeah I knew him. I knew him when he was a young, unshaven actor, before he fell, and spent forty years battling the foul Morgul stench. He emerged from that an aged man, his stubbled chin showing hints of grey, body and mind exhausted in spite of a great victory over the dark side. He took to wearing nothing but bathrobes, and rested heavily on his staff when he had to walk. His recovery was heavily reliant on resting his mind with the weed leaf, and rejuvenating his mind amongst the gardens and feasts of middle America, off the beaten track, as aeons passed him by. Soon, the great evil mustered its strength once more, and he again took to the battlegrounds of the Midwest, or as it was then known, middle earth…
Not stress, smoking, drinking and no sunscreen does that to you.
I don’t think stress is any less, but actually more than in the 90’s

Edie Falco in one of the later seasons gave one of the most impressive and stunning acting performances that I have ever witnessed on TV.
When she screams at Tony to get out of the house, she could shatter hearts with that voice.
Just came to think of it seeing as this is a shitpost or whatever.
Yeah, she really was incredible when the writers gave her something to do.
None of that was real though lol.
To be fair, I don’t know much about James Gandilfini.

Neat TIL
I’m talking more about the 90’s in general
Gandolfini was also an addict too
