    I mean, he pretty clearly set the record. That irrespective of his appearance, clothing, situation, or anything else, he is a severely homicidal lunatic. One of the more effective scenes. (I liked darth Vader’s “nooooo” as well)

      Rorschach is basically the Punisher - it’s only luck that he likes to kill and torture “bad people”, and he shows himself that he’s pretty flexible on the definition of “bad”.

        As a non-Irish-catholic who was not alive in 1940s America, I honestly can’t make heads or tails of how conventional or steadfast his morals are, for that crowd. It’s a common mistake to reference modern or personally felt sentiments as objective, when they are not. They are exceedingly contemporaneous and location dependent.

        But he’s a violent, insane, religious man in the 60s, so there’s probably something off beyond turning the dial up to 1100
