The adopted son suing (Jonah) for back child support was brought from Ethiopia when he was 5, didn’t speak English, neither adult Blevins spoke his language, and eventually shipped him off to abusive “schools” out of state, and eventually out of the country. It makes me think the Kentucky adoption process was perhaps well working if it protected children from would-be adopted parents like the Blevins.
