Kind like Ray Lewis and others, and the world reacts like it’s a huge surprise when it carries over into their real life? If you are conditioned for multiple years to be mean and tough how do they expect a person to “leave it on the field” And not show any type of anger or meanness?

They aren’t really surprised when it rolls out of the game because that is what they are, and they get picked because they have that aggressive drive.
They mostly get annoyed that the numpty got caught.
Teams have to act surprised so they don’t become liable.
