How is that quote showing support for him? It’s literally just describing who El-Sayed is and what he’s doing. He even gives the game away at the end with his “let us win this” line.
Remember when you posted Ken Martin’s mission statement shortly after he took over? He said he wants to win above all else and this is just an extension of that mission. I doubt he really cares who it is doing the “winning” just so long as they have a “D” next to their name.

Honestly it was a low effort, cheap jab at the DNC when my ire should have been aimed at folks like Jeffries & Schumer. Proud the party and Stevens have come out to support AES
