You wake up in your AI bed, eat your AI breakfast, drive your AI car, work at your AI job, go on your AI lunch break, and then get fired and replaced by a 11 year old Chinese child.
The CEO of the company I work for hasn’t had an original thought since 2024.
Which is fine — his original thoughts were all garbage anyway.

I saw a Claude log on a screen share yesterday where the dude was seriously using Claude to add two numbers together. This and things much stupider than this have been happening the whole time.
That does not thrill me with confidence for this or any future generation
Hmmm… I use google to do math all the time. It’s kinda nice, you can put units in and put the results in in the correct units.
Dude there wasn’t any units. This was seriously something you could type into a python repl, an excel cell, or even windows calculator.
Can you type in “80 mph * 420 minutes in km” into excel and get an answer?
Using google is useful because it will understand the units, which can serve as a check. If the units match what you’re expecting you know you got the formula right.
Again there was no units in what this dude had in his Claude chat. It was a simple addition of two numbers.
I know that people on the Internet love to argue, but Jesus tapdancing Christ man could you at least read before responding?
It’s happening. Also politicians do it. Current laws are created by AI for AI. We humans are deprecated.

They absolutely are. The AIs are quite literally building themselves
You can try asking AIs about their usefulness, cost effectiveness, and sustainability. Their answers vary much more than the CEOs’.
