I made a decision out of anger last weekend that may end up helping me.
My wife drives our truck to work becuse of her short commute. Wednesday it wouldn’t start. After spending $400 fixing it, and getting a rash from rolling around in the grass and bugs under it, and seeing all the things that were probably going to happen next, bringing on future rashes and money spent, I got so mad that I traded it in for a used 2nd gen Nissan Leaf.
The Leaf was cheap, the battery is in great condition, And I never have to put gas in an F150 again.
Or, oil commodity traders make big money, again.

Well at least I guess this means Greenland’s not getting invaded this week.
I think a more honest headline would be: US bombs Iran some more because the bribes for Trump family weren’t big enough.
Dang, and gas was down to 3.55 at one point.

The MAGA people are in for a rude awakening after the mid-terms. The populist elements of Donald’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ are going to expire while the provisions showing the rich in more wealth are permanent, and all the new trade deals enacted around the world after his unilateral tariffs are going to start kicking in.
The Democrats we elect in November won’t change a whole lot, but not having a rubber stamp and no longer being able to rule by fiat is going to impact the second half of Donald’s term significantly, and the continued push around the world to work around the US rather than with it is, unfortunately, going to impact all of our wealth here in the US.

Seems to me it’s just the same illegal and unconstitutional WAR, launched with a giant executive middle finger to congress and the American people, complimented by a kafkaesque claim that it’s for our benefit while the president’s administration profits off of it through unregulated online betting markets. They can’t even be bothered to come up with weasel-words to sell it as a defensive action - they know everyone has just accepted that it’s an undeclared war.
I cannot overstate how bad it is for Trump to be able to wage wars by default because Republicans can’t get it together to take our country back from the executive branch. Just wait until he gets bold enough to target a NATO country - maybe Greenland? Who in America would be able to stop him?
This braying pompous incompetent ass is going to get us all killed. He must be politically defeated before it’s too late and the acceptable casualties of war become the American people.
