The Nuremberg trials were infamously ineffectual (even arguably more performative than anything) and led to many high-level Nazi officials being given extremely lax sentences or even being acquitted. I hope this is more of a basic analogy than an actual example they would wish to follow.
Good start. Now do USA and Israel so we know you’re serious about justice.
Lmfao okay sounds like an idea created by dipshits for even bigger dipshits.
Nothing will change except the netherlands won’t seem like impartial pussies for about 5 minutes.
How long has it been now? Holy fuck.
When did you think the Nuremberg trials were held?
A little over 80 years ago, why? Does the far(ish) past suddenly make up for the inactions of the present? You can claim whatever you want but you haven’t actually done anything lmao.
You do understand the majority of those people are dead, right?
Too little too late.
They were held after the war ended, once the Nazis surrendered.
Obviously there can be no “Nuremberg-style” trials of Russian war criminals unless they actually lose the war, or after regime change in Russia.
So whats the netherlands doing to exacerbate russias loss besides strong words?
Anything recent that other countries haven’t exceeded?
I think you already know the answer to your disingenuous question, which in any case has little to do with the willingness to host a trial.
