    I think the stat is for every 8 people we execute one is exonerated from death row.

    That’s just not accurate enough for it to be a viable solution. Life in prison can at least be reversed if you get it wrong. If you kill somebody there are no take backs, and our legal system is too imperfect for permanent punishments.

      So… How about you get going then? Execute asamy as you can, in as little time as possible. That way you can get all the innocent prisoners exonerated. Well at least you won’t have innocent people on death row.

    I hate MAGA but I definitely support the death penalty!! We have very little justice in Canada and there are plenty of dirtbag, lifelong criminals that don’t deserve to breathe the same as air as the rest of us. Some of these dirtbags deserve medieval treatment before being put down as well!

      Yeah I suspect you’re one of the dirtbags - I can’t prove it, but as we know there never is 100% proof - but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for you - so off to the hangman you go!
