Homicides dropped 17.7%.

Robberies fell 20.4%.

Rapes declined 7.2%.

Aggravated assaults decreased 4.8%.

      No worries then because the Major Cities Chiefs Association collected and reported these and is not a part of the government.

        Ah, no worries then. We all know that police departments in the USA are absolutely above reproach and are impossible to influence politically.
