U.S. President Donald Trump says he has ordered the U.S. military to “shoot and kill” small Iranian boats that deploy mines to choke traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
If we want to be technical, it is a ceasefire with the Iranian government, this is the IRGC that has been told the straight has been opened by the government, if the government is OK with this then they would simply be rogue terrorists. It’s a fine line since the IRGC was created by the Iranian government but given the situation confusion desent and rebellion is to be expected.
There was a goodwill opening of SoH, in hope that Iran’s conditions for opening it would be reciprocated. It was closed after they were not. IRGC is the center of power in Iran, but everyone is behind them.
