Okay, I’m not saying this didn’t happen, but I’m going to ask for a source that’s not CNN. And any kind of bombshell reports like this about Democrats and coming from the U.S. state media need to be very heavily investigated because of who they’re owned by now and their well-known intentions to smear Democrats.

He was my representative until i recently moved. I’ve met him twice at coffee shops in Fremont just by chance.
He always seemed friendly and normal, if maybe a bit performative. The guy he originally replaced was a very old-guard corporatist Democrat, so i initially had high hopes for Swallwell.
I’m pretty shocked by this. Now the man is going to double down and further embarrass these women and his family by continuing to run and staying in office.
It will be easy to find a better rep for the district than Swallwell. That part of the Bay Area has more progressives and socialists than liberals, and the libertarian Republicans still outnumber the MAGAs
The letters said the women’s claims were “undermined” by their “voluntary and cooperative relationship with Mr. Swalwell over the course of many years” following the alleged incidents, including the former staffer asking him for job references.
