The problem is that repeated failed attempts to impeach galvanize his supporters and prove to the right that it doesn’t matter what they’re doing, they’ll get away with it. Failing to impeach Trump over and over isn’t functional progress. If the democrats want to do anything, they should spend 100% of their time obstructing every nomination and every bill put forward by this administration, and spend every other bit of time they have gumming up the works with bills we know will fail to undo the damage being done. At least in those cases there’s a potential they could actually do some good.
