Hasn’t the US set the precedent that this is ok?
This was inside Cuban territorial waters, so it’s pretty much always been this way.
Also, they fired on a police boat.
Sorry, are we not blowing up civilian boats now?
~ Cubagood. they were probably muling drugs.
They’re killing people to that are trying to evacuate Cubans. Most likely their family members. So that’s great…
Edit: So, I was wrong about this. I was watching a lot of videos from Cubans in the US, and emotionally jumped to the conclusion that they must have been trying to help their families. I believe these are the rebel Cubans exiled to the US who came to attack the government.
after it failed to obey orders to stop in territorial waters and opened fire on the police vessel,
Yeah, sure. Someone trying to pick up family members opened fire on a police boat.
I was referring to this:
“Authorities on the island frequently report finding abandoned or seized speedboats along the northern coast (Ciego de Ávila, Villa Clara, Havana), commonly used to pick up potential migrants. They describe these operations as ‘territorial violations and human trafficking.’”
Houston’s strip clubs and brothels are packed to overflowing with “Rescued Cubans”. Miami, Atlanta, and New Orleans, too.
The US cartels and the CIA have been flesh-peddling naive young people out of Cuba for decades. It is absolutely human trafficking.
