She’s living the dream
A few weeks ago, Clay had to have knee replacement surgery, and has been at home resting and recovering ever since. She can’t move around a lot, so she’s been spending a lot of time cuddled up in bed — and all five cats immediately noticed that something was off with Mom.
Normally, the cats won’t all cuddle with their mom at the same time … but when they realized she was sick, they knew she needed some extra love and figured out exactly what to do.

Can confirm. Following open heart surgery, it was a competition to see if Rocket or Keanu could get closer to me.
Awwww. My wife says the same thing – our cats always know when she’s feeling off, and want to sit on her tummy :). She swears it helps her feel better too.
They really wanted to sit on my chest and had zero concept of surgery incisions. 😞
It’s going to be tough here in a couple of weeks when I go in for cancer surgery.

It’s always nice to see someone with almost as many cats as me. And 2 in the leg boat, nice!
