The thing I always wonder when I hear about these bills is whether cis women would be more uncomfortable with noticeably MtF individuals in their bathroom, or with passing FtM individuals in their bathroom. My money’s on the latter.
The answer the UK settled on was to ban trans men from essentially all single sex public restrooms.
These kind of laws really exist to be a covert way of banning trans existence in public; there have been trans women in the UK who have sued because they have essentially no ability to use changing rooms or piss at work, because the law doesn’t require employers to provide single stall/all gender restrooms.
