Shit’s never going to change because we keep scheduling protests instead of protesting every day in every way possible. At home, at work; protest everywhere.

This is necessary to get people started out.

Gets them familiar with how protesting needs to be done.

So when shit inevitably gets worse, they and their friends who stayed home last time will be out again and likely for longer too.

You want to move millions of people to fight for freedom? Gotta get them used to the motions first.

A king is a dictator, they have unlimited power. Plus there’s the context of the US breaking off from the UK because they didn’t want a king anymore. You could use “dictator” instead as the modern term but then you lose out on the historical connection pointing out the irony.

A king is a pretty term that legitimizes the person in charge, which is what Trump wants. You call them what they are: fascist dictators.

Not necessarily, but it would be ironic if you were a non-native speaking English person living in the US. That would likely indicate that you or your parents are exactly the type of people that Trump and his friends are trying to vilify and make life more difficult for.

Do you truly believe that matters to this regime? That it would matter to ICE officers charged with capturing you?

It’s certainly a comfortable thought to consider yourself “the exception,” but it’s dangerously naive. Racists hardly care if you speak English. Complaining about immigrants not speaking English is an easy target to hit, especially since the people being complained about can’t argue back. That doesn’t mean they like foreigners who speak English. If they wanted to complain about you, they’d just pick some other thing that makes you “different.”

You’re still a foreigner, and there are enough fascists out there who don’t care what else you are.

You trust that the system of governance is immune to corruption and law breaking, that it’s infallible. It very much is, and “oh we lost this time but we’ll beat facism at the next vote” is exactly how they keep getting away with shit. Elections are treated as a blank slate, fresh start, when they are not, even if there is another election and we win we’ll have to fight to restore the rule of law and the systems to a state before all of this.

Can you at least educate yourself on the psychology and sociology behind protests? Do you realize social change happens not only with the exchange of ideas but with people seeing movements happening? Or what, would you rather they all comment angrily online into the void, ultimately get censored, and get the boot down their throat having tried nothing?

And before you even try it, violence does not work. That only gives the government an excuse to use force, and they’re salivating just thinking bout it.

It seem violence was ultimately stronger than the exchange of idea if we consider what happen to kirk. But I hear you and I would agree if only it was a mouvement that had a majority supporter. To me it s more adjacent to a social event than a political contestation. Also the communication is all over the place, no king ? Like yeah nothing said king that winning an election by a landslide. On the article they said the event will also happen in Canada and europe ? Like who give a fuck ? And that it s an horror he cut humanitarian aid ? Just take a second job and go work to finance that rather than protest and expect a whole ass country to finance mesure that doesn’t benefit his citizen

If only the conditions making these protests necessary could have been prevented…

Oh wait, you helped them happen. Enjoy the fake internet points. Can’t wait to see your next agenda.

Edit: Apparently it’s been forgotten that Ozma plastered several communities with articles trashing both Biden and Harris running up to the election.

Edit edit to also remind that while trashing Dem candidates, we got crickets from them about Donnie and friends. It was an obvious agenda that several people recognized at the time. They did it before and they will do it again. Wait for election year.

I think you’re getting down voted because people don’t know from your original comment that you were referring to OP.

But yeah. Fuck these fake leftists who rallied hard against the idea of voting for Harris over Trump, then turn around crying and shivering that their virtue signal boycott surrendered the country to fascism.

It’s irrelevant to what OP posted, but you are correct. I remember specifically calling them out over the endless slanted posting against Dems during the election. Never a word against Trump
