    "There’s no sign that the Russians are willing to make any concessions,” said Angela Stent, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution who was the top U.S. intelligence analyst for Russia and Eurasia. “The demands haven’t changed at all. I think they are not really interested in peace or a meaningful ceasefire.”

    but russia has foreign army in russia and is CSTO member.

    If russia doesn’t leave Ukraine territory, then Ukraine should be offered NATO membership to protect remaining territories.

    This is like a kid wanting to talk to Mom instead of Dad because they think they will get a more favorable answer. Actually it’s more like a kid telling both of their parents to fuck off, and they’re going to just ask their friend’s mom down the street.
