I’m not sure it favors some of us, as it’s a sign all of us collectively have gotten waaay too comfortable letting pieces of shit off the hook for their behavior. If we ever make it out of this I think we need to swing pretty hard the other direction on ‘tolerating’ people being total fucking assholes to everyone else in their career, in politics, in public. Call that shit out, shun them, make them understand freedom of speech does not allow you to literally spew hate speech, threaten people, and generally be a corrupt asshole. None of anyone’s behavior in the GOP since basically 2016, is okay. Obviously this has been going far longer, but 2016 election is when it went full gloves off.

They really should not have started such a cliché for that in bar fights in movies, I feel like some people think it’ll break like the movies and you’ll just “hurt the guy a little” not fucking kill them, or give them permanent brain damage.

Well if he says it, it must be true. Why do people even bother posting these stories? “Trump says…” “Patel says…” All it does is spread and give credibility to their lies, by posting their lies in the freaking headline.

She was a celebrity so she had the status and power to stand up on a soap box and start yelling. I think you’re understating her influence on the American Public. She was on a popular day time talk show ‘The View’ for a while that lots of parents watched while home with their kids during the day.

Also, I honestly don’t know why we’re arguing about this. Both of these people suck and are responsible for the vaccine denial around us. I’m leaving it at that

In the US. It was Jenny McCarthy, she really gained a lot of popular and supporting attention around her wrong views, supported by the fraudulent research of Andrew Wakefield.

So, here’s the thing. We all know Trump’s a bastard. If they use him to try to control the cartel’s he’ll pretty much just take over Mexico once the troops are in the border.

In this case the enemy of my enemy doesn’t apply here, because your enemy’s enemy is a fascist asshole with no satiation for power and money.

We all fight over resources that actually matter (like food, water, shelter and security) instead the previous things (money), for the enjoyment of our overlords.

Seriously, the people who have power to change the outcome of the future seem to either straight not be planning for this future scenario, or are planning for a horribly distopian version of this future scenario.
