A shocking number of lemmings put their comments through an LLM before posting, and a lot of them comment on basically every rising thread too. You start to recognize recurring usernames before long. Lot of em use sockpuppets too since you’ll always see their comments with the same number of upvotes. I don’t think they realize up and down votes are public. Anyway, yeah like half the users here use a gpt for their comments.

The purpose of these pours is to tell your customers in no uncertain terms that they’re not fuckin welcome. I’m firmly with the old bastard on this one, that pour is fuckin offensive. And it makes your beer taste like shit.

It’s funny when lemmy accuses reddit of being bots and propaganda. Pot meet kettle, lemmy just has a smaller userbase and the propaganda is more Russian than American.

Lemmy is basically the top 5 percent and bottom 20 percent of reddit mostly insulting and talking past each other, or uncritically repeating Russian propaganda. And yes, I say this knowing full well I do it too. The first part mostly at least, usually in response to the last part.
