I would honestly say it’s more Apathy than Propaganda.
Most people simply don’t think they can do anything, that it wastes their time, and therefore just tune it out and try to pretend it doesn’t exist.

Lots of companies are a risk to consumers. Tobacco ringing any bells?

I was looking for this particular users idea, not the broader definition. I work in this field and am well versed on ML.

How do you differentiate AI and Generative AI?
Do you mean Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT) as in what we see with large language models?
The investment bubble may collapse on them, but the usage isn’t going anywhere but up. I don’t know why you think it’s some sort of scam. If it was such a scam, companies that have been using it for two years already would be throwing it in the trash and instead they’re buying up more capacity.
I have legitimate business use cases for it today, and my company can’t get hands on hardware or even available compute from the big players because it’s in such high demand.
It used to be that most of the compute was going to training models, but that hasn’t been the case for a year now. The majority (and it’s increasing fast) is inference at this point and while it doesn’t live up to the “It will do your entire job and get you fired” it’s definitely useful in many situations.

How should we execute people who throw lit cigarette butts out their car windows?

Nah. There’s not really any significant benefit to making such changes from a government perspective.

I’m confused, I thought gender affirming treatment was illegal?
Isn’t this affirming a gender?

As it should be.

I don’t think NATO would invade, but you’re right about the internal internal issues they would have. There would be orders straight up refused, malicious compliance, and we’d see defections like Russia was having issues with in Ukraine. Soldiers just walking up and surrendering, or getting “captured.”
Most of them have no interest in taking over Canada, and there isn’t even a clear way to “take over” Canada even if they wanted to. They could take over all of our military bases, and take the primary government institutions and it wouldn’t really matter very much. They couldn’t effectively control the population that would not go along with that plan.

We need to hurt the normal people. While some of them didn’t vote for trump, a LOT of them didn’t vote at all. That needs to change. These people don’t usually change until something affects them personally.
If we can get some non-voters to vote, the republican party drops like a rock.
Is that election interference? No more than what they’re doing to us.

Don’t forget car accidents, and overdosing.

Starting a fight with Canada for no good reason.

Rice Cakes (the circular ones)
They’re regularly $3.49 Canadian now… that’s absurd. It has one ingredient, rice. Rice isn’t that expensive, and it doesn’t even use very much of it.
They’re not even difficult to produce, the machine to make them is only a few thousand dollars and I’m seriously considering buying one from South Korea at this point.

Despite the hatred, advertising works most of the time.
If nobody knows about your product or service, you can’t make any money. Word of mouth doesn’t cut it beyond a local store.

This is exactly the problem I mentioned, in that it’s giving people a false sense of security. There are bots posting without that symbol all the time.

I’m aware, that’s why my comment mentions that

There is no way to reliably identify bot posts if they are not revealing that information intentionally.
Should it be banned? Sure
Can it be banned? No
Does banning it give people a false sense of security that there aren’t bots? Yes
The one exception (it did age decently) is Austin Powers.
They must have used the time machine to look forward and figure out what they could get away with and then danced as close to the line as possible.
