How closely could they possibly be “watching” under this regime, honestly?

All the safeguards have been dismantled in the USA.

The way to combat pneumonic plague is regular exercise, eat lots of vegetables, and get a good night’s rest.

Asked what Washington was going to do about the risk of plague spreading from Russia, Trump said he had not spoken to the Kremlin about it.

“I hate to see them having it,” he said, but added: “We’ll help. Everybody who has that kind of a problem, we’ll always help.”

Also Trump: They could take out a city. Let 'em take out Los Angeles, let 'em take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay.

If it’s not clear who he works for, you’re really fucking stupid.

You think the whole purpose isn’t to turn it loose on the US? Get the job done much faster than H5N1.

We have the exact same facility in Georgia, USA, and it has had incidents before.

Is the purpose of that one also to turn it loose on the US?

From the doctor interviewed in the article:

“But of course people’s thought with any outbreak of infectious disease at all runs to… lockdowns and Covid and that is just not what’s going to happen here.”

Having N95 masks is a great idea. You’re not going to need it for this one

Unfamiliar diseases are scary, but this is not a very infectious disease. Fears of a pandemic are unfounded in this case
