A clarinet player was arrested after playing her instrument to the tune of the “Ghostbusters” theme song outside of a Portland ICE facility, which has recently become a site of daily clashes between federal agents and demonstrators.
Since the 80’s USA has been a society mostly driven by sociopathy, with Republican policies being decidedly and uncompromising sociopathic. So it’s not surprising that there are a lot of sociopaths in USA, who are willing to disregard all decency and all norms to trample on those they consider to be below them or against them.
I just read an article stating that Americans are lining up for a job with ICE, and they consider it an “adventure”!!!
Absolutely zero empathy.
That’s what largely unregulated capitalism and a culture that exalts greed about all else will do to a people. We have literally brainwashed our entire populace into being sociopaths because it made a profit. And we are surprised that there were consequences.
