ProPublica identified more than 150 products that were exempted from import bans since 2013. Our list provides the names of the drugs or ingredients and their manufacturers, many of which are no longer banned.

    One of the main reasons this is bullshit is because the risks and dangers of getting drugs from unsafe facilities without the FDA procedures and safeguards was touted as a major reason why US citizens weren’t allowed to order drugs from, say, Canada at a lower cost to alleviate the US price pressures. Turns out, they’re perfectly fine with unsafe facilities, it’s just all about the profits.
